I am a rock in the river
When breathing mountain air.
The cool forever-new breath
Moves around and in and through me,
Moving me on through the forest in my mind.

The cold air and colder water of the stream
Wash my everything clean;
Replace what is stale;
Remind me that I am one moment
Over and over again,

Expanding out and vibrating
With the life that vibrates around me.
Being such a small one
That joins all the other ones
To create the great all,

Each sharing a breath of the river.
